For more than 40 years, Wachendorff Automation has had close ties with the North American market. Initially as a distributor for American companies, and later as an established supplier of industrial and automotive-grade encoders and measurement systems ‘Made in Germany’, Wachendorff has built up a strong market position.

In 2010, Wachendorff Automation USA Inc. was founded as a dedicated sales office in Chicago, Illinois. The company serves as a local point of contact and supports market development in the USA and Canada.

As part of the strategic development of its North American business, Wachendorff Automation now works closely with Encoder Products Company (EPC). EPC handles the marketing and sales of selected encoder solutions, particularly in the field of absolute encoders, and complements this with local application and service expertise.

For customers in the USA and Canada, this means that all enquiries, project planning and sales activities will in future be handled by Encoder Products Company to ensure optimal support, short response times and maximum delivery reliability.

The combination of Wachendorff’s development and technological expertise with EPC’s market and application proximity creates a powerful offering for industrial applications in North America.
